Description

Too many high clouds, with increasing cloud cover over the night to shoot DSOs, so i dabbled in the lunar world of astrophotography tonight. Im not really a "Moon nerd", so I just went to a part of the 36% waxing crescent that I thought looked cool. Turns out, they have a name. I just used my DSO setup to capture this, as I was too lazy to change scopes and cameras. I honestly had little expectations... 

I think it came out alright! 30minute video at around 50 fps with spikes up to 70 fps with the asi1600mm at 380p using the G filter. I used autostakkert to use the best 14% of the 108,000 frames I had to create this image. Sharpened in Registax 

Below average seeing with below average transparency with passing high clouds
