Description

I was practically hyperventilating this past Monday morning, as Astrospheric was actually showing good news ... a mostly clear night at the Bortle 4 club site, and a possible decent night two hours north at my Bortle 3 site (where it has clouded over on me a few times).  A couple of hours later (and the lost hope of shooting M81 with a recently acquired Meade SN10), I took a chance and headed north with the FRA600.  Upon arriving, I saw that the landowner had cleared a path off the road and through the snow for my Jeep.  It was the first and (so far) only clear Moonless night I could shoot in March and, unfortunately, most Winter targets were west of the meridian.  So I chose this target ... and  it stayed cloudless  throughout the night, albeit with so-so seeing.

Though I shot 400 minutes of Light frames, etc., after my WBP and a number of BLX / MS / ABE combinations, I didn't have high hopes.  The Master Light just didn't look that promising.

Nevertheless, I looked forward to my Astro mentoring session with @Terry Hancock at noon today.  I am almost always learning something new and am not disappointed with today's result.
