Description

This august I took a relatively short sequence of the Cassiopeia W asterism. This needs more data (as we astrophotographers always say), but I processed them anyway to get an impression about what to expect. This region is quite busy at this scale, diluting the relatively small objects (such as Gamma Cas and Pacman nebulas, M103, NGC 457, etc.). Perhaps the more interesting feature is the crab-like dark nebula near delta Cas.
