Description

Arp 25 (NGC2276) is very near in the same field and it shows some interesting details.  Arp's notes talk about Arp 25 having perterbed outer arms most likely caused by nearness to Arp 114.  Arp 114 is called a spiral, but I don't notice any distinct arm details.  Arp 25 shows significaant details - including an outer arm band appearing to be pulled by Arp 25.

At 30m, faint haze of very large halo around Arp 114.  At first glance, this galaxy looks much smaller than Arp 25, but if this halo were brighter, they would be very similar in size.  Still no hint of arms though, but more apparent that it isn't an elliptical.
