Description

ARP 110 is a spiral galaxy located almost a half billion light years away in the constellation of Aquarius at a declination of -15 degrees.  The galaxy disk spans 35 arc-seconds in our apparent view, which corresponds to a diameter of 75,000 light years. The disk is severely disturbed, with a large star stream plume that extends one of the arms to wrap another revolution.
