Description

I setup my camera on a star tracker last night and had it take a photo every 30 seconds in the hopes it would capture a meteor. Looking through the ~170 photos afterwards I noticed I’d caught a green streak from a meteor, pictured here flying past The Plough!

Captured with a Sony a7R III, Sony 24mm f/1.4 GM lens, Hoya Red Enhancer filter, iOptron SkyGuider Pro.

ISO 500, 24mm, f/1.4, 30 seconds.

Processed in PixInsight and Lightroom, and noise reduction in Topaz Denoise AI.
