a few first times here.
my first finished image with my new mono setup,
my first published image this year,
first image with my astrobin subscription renewed,
first time that I designed and 3d printed my own astrogear (touptek afw filter masks),
and I guess (at least one of) the first times this rarely imaged pn got imaged that intimate.
sh2-216 is a really weak and one of the biggest pn´s in our night sky.
initially I only imaged this target to dial in my new mono setup, at f7 I thought that it would be an anyway more or less impossible challenge to get enough signal in a reasonable time but for only 50h of total exposure time I am quite happy with what I got.
few days ago Adam block also uploaded a picture of that pn. that guy does not even need narrowband filters to get reasonable signal.

one interesting detail that I noticed is that literally every single gradient removal tool does a bad job on it.
graxpert, the new pixinsight gradient tool, dbe, Abe... they all just remove the signal from the images.
the only tool that left some oiii signal was pixinsights gradient correction, the rest just removed every little bit of oiii.
