Description

This is how the passage of the Green Comet through Chile was seen, a once-in-a-lifetime event. Here's my shot captured on February 7th, lucky enough to have been in skies with virtually no light pollution. Photographing a comet is not easy, especially this time when the Comet was moving away from Earth and losing brightness significantly.

Despite everything, but with extensive processing, I was able to capture both tails of the Comet. The largest is the dust and the almost indistinguishable in my photo, the plasma (ionized gas). In the second part, I made a Time-lapse where you can see the movement of the Comet among the sea of stars.
