Description

I was not expecting the colors I would get from this target.

The Guardians of Navi, aka the Ghost of Cassiopeia, are located 550 light-years away in the constellation Cassiopeia the Queen. The nebulae are slowly being eroded away by the blasting stellar wind of the nearby sub-giant variable star Gamma Cassiopeiae, sometimes called Navi. Navi is also surrounded by its own gaseous disc. This star is 19 times more massive and 65,000 times brighter than our Sun. It also rotates at the incredible speed of 1.6 million km per hour — more than 200 times faster than Sol. The fast rotation causes eruptions of mass from the star into a surrounding disk.
