Description

I live in a fairly light-polluted environment and decided to see what a lot of time could do to pull out a difficult region. This is 65.4 hours total on NGC7129 taken at 941mm with 8" F/4.7 Newtonian. Broke down as about 4.3 hours each with R,G&B; 24.s hours luminance; and 28 hours of Ha. The RGBL subframes were 120s and the Ha 600. Sadly I could see the growing effects of smoke from the CA fires about 1000 miles distant when I compare early and late subs.

Processed in Pixinsight with a try near in in PSD to better show the very dark structures.

Description: This is same old data complete with column flaws but reprocessed using new tools! Primarily Russel Cromans BlurXterminator and NoiseXterminator. Made the RGB and color corrected then extracted R,G,&B and built RGBH with starless Ha in NBColourmapper script. Made RGBL from that. Removed stars and slightly boosted nebula saturation and returned slightly diminished stars to final image.
