Description

This is probably my most complicated image to date. it is a composite of many images taken over the last few years - and recently! We have been having terrible weather here in Queensland and I hear today they predict potentially a 3rd La Ninya in a row! Oh for clear skies! Anyway, the horizontal image represents a 4 panel mosiac taken with the Samyang 50mm lens at F4 using the ZWO ASI294MC Pro camera. Overlayed onto that is a 3 panel vertical mosaic through the core of the galaxy using a 135mm Samyang lens and again the ZWO ASI294MC Pro camera. Included is also an overlay of the Pipe Nebula taken with the Samyang 135mm and again the ZWO ASI294MC Pro. FInally there is an overlay of the Rho Ophiuchi nebula using the Samyang 35mm Lens and the ZWO ASI183MC Pro as well as the Blue Horsehead region taken with the Samyang 135mm lens and again the ZWO ASI294MC Pro. It took a while to process and colour balance and finally I think I am getting less afreid to pump up the colour! I love this image.
