Description

NGC6995, Veil Eastern Nebula (Bat Nebula), is a nebula in the eastern part of the Veil Nebula complex, which is a large supernova remnant, in the constellation Cygnus. It has a Visual Magnitude of +5; an apparent size of 60.0 x 30.0 arcmin and is at a distance of approx. about 1,400 light-years from Earth.
Equipment: TS102 f/5.6 refractor, HEQ-5 Pro belt drive mount, ASI294MM camera + 6nm Astronomik Halpha and OIII filters, Guided with PHD2 + 60mm f4 tube + ASI224MC
