Description

NGC7000, the North American Nebula, and IC5070, the Pelican Nebula. An emission nebula located in the constellation Cygnus. The primary features include the 'Wall' that runs up Mexico into California and the Pelican Nebula which is off of Florida. It is theorized that Deneb is responsible for ionizing the gas and that puts it roughly 1800 light years from us. This is another of Herschel's discoveries and was found in 1786.

The picture itself was created using 6 individual frames with the new Drizzle routine applied. Drizzle seems to make a huge difference in the noise I had from the original image to the new image (F).

I'm still collecting narrowband on this target.
