Description

Some of the large craters near the center of the lunar disc facing the earth. The largest crater is Ptolemaeus. Below it are Alphonsus and Arzachel. The large crater right of Ptolemaeus is Albategnius. Note the chain of tiny craters just below and to the left of Ptolemaeus.
