Description

Another low target at 10 degrees and already past the meridian as night falls. Shot in nautical dark over a couple of evenings around 50 minutes per night. Abell 62 is a planetary I will hopefully add to next year, as there's quite a bit of structure to this faint object. This is only taken in Ha and OIII as there really isn't much time for RGB, so a pleasant surprise at how much the 60s subs revealed.

Jerry Macon has a fine image of this from his larger scope.

Description: Re-processed using the NormaliseScaleGradient in the batch Processing scripts. Just a basic process for a quick look. Saw Adam Blocks' presentation of the script on you tube. Impressed with the better colour s from the get go of making a HOO image and a cleaner background on a difficult object for my skies. Worth a look into the script.
