Description

The Heart Nebula, IC 1805, Sh2-190, lies some 7500 light years away from Earth and is located in the Perseus Arm of the Galaxy in the constellation Cassiopeia. This is an emission nebula showing glowing gas and darker dust lanes.

Very steady skies, and no lights from the neighbors.

21x5min Ha and 21x5min OIII. Takahashi E-160, G-11, QHY-22. Captured and preprocessed in Nebulosity, Post process in PI: L: sum of all frames, R:Ha, G3, B:synthetic 15%Ha+85%O3 Full frame
