Description

This is a Summary of the four composite images using a section of the tone map from an earlier post of the Elephant Trunk Nebula (http://www.astrobin.com/100464/) and luminosity from the NOAO two-tone image (This is the link to the center and recognizable portion of the Elephant Trunk http://www.noao.edu/image_gallery/html/im1172.html), Credit T.A. Rector (University of Alaska Anchorage), H. Schweiker & S. Pakzad (NOAO/AURA/NSF) for all the high-rez images of the Elephant Trunk.

In this image we show the location of each of the less recognized narrow field images from NOAO as compared to the wide field image.
