Description

On saturday the 22th of november I went to Bazena to take a few pictures of the sky.

The night was clear and dry, but high veils passed all the night long.
With my Canon 350D on the Star Adventurer i took a long series of shots on M45 The Pleiades.
Unfortunately veils has created huge halos around bright stars in most of them.

Using PixInsight with SubframeSelector scrip I've selected the better ones based on sky median value (if veils are present the median value goes up) and only 71 on 150 frames survived after the quality control

here the composition of the survivors.

Sabato 22 novembre sono andato a Bazena per scattare alcune foto del cielo.

La notte è stata serena e secca, ma parecchi veli sono passati per tutta la notte.
Con la mia Canon 350D sullo Star Adventurer ho scattato una lunga serie di immagini M45 Le Pleiadi.
Purtroppo, nella maggior parte delle immagini i veli hanno creato enormi aloni intorno alle stelle luminose.

Utilizzando PixInsight con lo script SubframeSelector ho selezionato quelli migliori sulla base del valore della mediana del cielo (se sono presenti veli il valore mediano sale) e solo 71 su 150 fotogrammi sono sopravvissuti dopo il controllo di qualità
