Description

The ruptured Cometary Globule CG 4 and Galaxy PGC 21338 in the southern constellation Puppis.  CG 4 looks like some strange beast trying to reach out and eat the galaxy, but the galaxy is many times larger (diameter about 120,000 ly vs the "head" of CG 4 with diameter of 1.5 ly), and far more distant than CG 4 (the galaxy 120-150 million ly away vs 1,600 ly for CG 4).
