Description

Thought I would share my learning with you as my first galaxy season. Hopefully it may help some others trying for the first time too.

Took some subs in preparation for getting the RC out so I could start to learn what I need to do!

Lessons learnt so far.

1. Take shorter RGB subs as @ 600 seconds the light pollution was unrecoverable. Will also improve star colour. I lost all IFN in LUM due to RGB pollution.

2. Take shorter Lum exposures for cores. Then mask or HDR combo in.

3. For this target aware HA will also improve.

I will post updates as I get more data and see what the end results are like on this image.

And as an extra challenge trying all this with new FLI camera!

Rev A - First Pass

Rev B - A little reduction on some of the bigger stars.
