Revision C: Reprocessed to clean up the background, better enhance stars, and reduce file size. Added magnitudes for selected field stars. And a title frame, even.
GIF version: This combines two night's imaging to show the motion of Makemake--the additional night was 13 March, three days after the first image. The splotchy background results from problems with my flat frames and overly aggressive stretching. I may reprocess omitting the flats.
Original image: This is a very lightly processed image of Makemake with a comparison chart. I did kind of lean on the sharpening more than usual, though. To confirm this I'll need to reimage it within a few days and detect the position change.
Makemake is currently at magnitude 16.9; the dimmest stars in the image are around magnitude 19.4.
