Description

This is my first attempt using WinJupos to derotate longer videos. I used the "output as derotated video" option.

As expected, stacking 3,371 frames (instead of 600 to 1000) makes a huge difference.

Given how well the new FE is working with the ASI120MM-S camera, I am REALLY thinking about buying a filter wheel/filter set to do LRGB images. If anyone has any suggestions on a good filter wheel and filter set, let me know!

Version A is stacked via AS2!, but not de-rotated. Sharpened with Registax.

Version B is de-rotated video with WinJupos, stacked via AS2!, and sharpened with Registax.

The 3 minute video is probably not long enough to demonstrate WinJupos' capabilities, but it is interesting to see that there was not much blurriness, even in the non de-rotated video.

Exposure was 16.02 ms, with a gain of 28. 3,371 frames (best 30% of 11,239 frames) were stacked in AS2! and sharpened in Registax (contrast also adjusted in Registax). PixInsight used to convert to JPG.

Thanks for looking!
