It was a cloudy sky, no real clear patches. At best, the moon was covered with a thick haze flowing by, but I wanted to give it a try anyway. I also wanted to test my new C8, fitted with full-frame Canon-camera …

That night, Feb 5-6, the meridian passing of the moon was at 01:16cet, at 99.8% illumination, already waning. The exact 100% full moon would’ve been just before midnight, this shot is quite close to the moment. The clouds preventing anything decent earlier.

Just checking how sharp a single shot through a C8 can be …
