Markarian's Chain is found almost at the center of the Virgo Galaxy Cluster. The most massive galaxy of the Virgo Galaxy cluster, M 87, is located just outside of the frame. The underlying LRGB series of this photograph was taken in a single night. Bright galaxy cores have been processed in Pixinsight with HDR wavelets in order to preserve the details.
