Description

It's been a very long time since I've managed to image anything due to a combination of new equipment and very poor weather conditions.

Typically it was a full moon when clear over the two nights I captured this data and there is a horrible gradient in the colour data in particular.

This is a cropped version and the only way I could find a guide star was to move the galaxy far to the edge of the FOV, which is not ideal on my uncorrected C8

*Added about 2 hrs of data to this. I think longer than 900s for luminance is not enough to get the detail i'm looking for. Also 120s 2x2 for the RGB is not long enough as I'm having to boost the saturation far too much to get good colour detail, which is making a lot of noise.

I should also probably redo the flats for this as there is still a bit of a gradient(might be from the old data while the moon was full:/ )

All in all, I've found this to be a much harder target than I originally expected.
