Description

This image is a "first" in many respects. This is the first picture since I move back to the suburb. The first time I am using my DSLR after DIY full spectrum mod. The first time I am using an IDAS LPS-P2 filter. The first time I am using my second hand NEQ6 Pro. The polar alignment is not good, because the altitude bolt of the second hand NEQ6Pro is a lemon, probably slightly bent. There is obviously walking noise / field rotation particularly at the lower right. I will need to try dithering to see if the walking noise can be reduced. The subs are only 210 second long and the red peak is approaching saturation. - shorter than my subs without LPS in my previous semi-rural home. And I only managed 10 subs before the cloud rolled in. Anyway, I am happy guiding is a lot better than the ZEQ25, and narrowband is probably inevitable in the near future given degree of light pollution.
