Description

NGC 7261 is an open star cluster in the constellation Cepheus and has an angular extent of 6.0 'and an apparent magnitude of +8.4 mag. It was on October 5, 1829 by John Herschel discovered and is also called OCL 237 , respectively. Source: Wikipedia

The Nebula in the lower left of this image is Sh2 - 135 is a rarely photographed emission nebula in southern Cepheus, located between ζ and δ Cephei. It is an H II region linked to a dark nebula of interstellar dust which shows a pronounced ionization front and is expanding. Source: www.nightsky.at
