Finally

Description

Today is the 26th straight day of rain and clouds here. I've been putting it to good use though. I finally have my hand-controller and associated circuits all on one board now getting them integrated. The board has temp humidity barometer and wifi with lipo battery and battery management. 3 additional temp sensors that don't require any additional modules and the focus motor controller. Switching to a 32 bit 200mhz processor with a floating point unit so I can do focus calculations. Going away from the Arduino stuff to some ARM Cortex equipment made by NSX and embeddedartists out of Sweeden. I have a board called a labtool that is an 10 channel analyser and 2 channel scope that has a daughter board that also functions as a jtag hardware debugger and a souped up arduino pin compatible dev board. All the stuff I have designed now will just plug right into the 32 bit version. The central processor will be a Yun All communications will be over WiFi HTTP based with a server running on the Yun. The handpad itself consists of two pieces now instead of three. The touchscreen and a ESP8266 Wifi module. The 8266 is programmable via the Arduino IDE so no other board is necessary as I had thought when I started this. The 8266 is a fantastic little module. 80Mhz full tcpip stack and wifi. Used an AT command set like the old modems. Hopefully the rain will go away soon. I'd love to actually use my WO
