Description

Tired of only shooting 40 hour long images with no clear skies in sight, I went after my first glob since the day I started astrophotography 2 years ago. It's fun to get a target done in one night and I forgot how beautiful this one was! Even from my red/white zone, I seemed to be able to capture a good bit of depth and color. I also was unaware of all of the little faint fuzzies in this field. I guess they are everywhere in the night sky As always, C&C's much appreciated and thanks for looking!

Version A: original processing

Version B: less blue halos

Version C: Better background and less blue halos

Version D: Tight crop on the core of the glob

Version: F: I almost always avoid any politics or outside conversation on this forum that could generate controversy, but it is a very big day for some close friends and a groundbreaking day for our country. I am very happy for those of you celebrating today. An homage to them...

'As many of you know, I have a deep love for astrophotography. One of the most amazing things about the adventure in recording the universe, is the grand scale of it all. It provides such a rich perspective about how insignificant and small our problems are in relation to the universe we live in. How someone else wants to live their life should not even be a blip on the radar in your universe!'
