Description

I returned to my favorite dark sky's in Heppner Oregon this month and imaged The Ring Nebula again with further subs and can see the distant galaxy to the left of the ring nebula with better resolution then before. The distant galaxy is a barbed spiral galaxy IC 1296 a staggering 221 million light years away I hope to spend more time in the future at this remote site possibly 5 months out of the year during weekly new moon cycles if possible.
