This picture is a first for me in many ways - first time dithering, also I used APT for gathering lights for the first time (sooo smoth, I’m really recommending it!) and plus it took actually ages to process (because I got the PixInsight Trial, it‘s my first picture with PI and it was a really steep learning curve!) - way longer than my other Pics. I love this Galaxy, it‘s really photogenic, but sadly being very close to the milky ways dust lanes means also loooots of stars, which makes processing kinda difficult imho. As usual it‘s probably way too less total exposure time - I fucked up with guiding after the Meridian Flip (forget to check a box, stupid me) and sadly the nights are still short. Probably I‘m also not in perfect focus because the temps were falling pretty fast this night and I was too lazy to readjust the focus 😅 Still I‘m pretty content, because this is really not an easy target, especially with my equipment.

Processed with Astro Pixel Processor, PixInsight and Photoshop (Astronomy Tools Action, Photokemis Star Tools).
