Description

Moon 22 hours after the first quarter at an altitude of 53°. A beautiful view of radiant structures emerging from the darkness and a slightly brightened eastern fragment of the crater giant's crown. Yes giant, because this outline at the edge of the night seems enormous. It frightens with steep walls and a black tarry interior, but on the other hand it exudes calm of the geometric form. It is also seen as if waves rippled in time radiating from the dormant crater. Fantastic chiaroscuro spectacle.

In the center of the frame - Eratosthenes and the phantom Stadius crater.
