Emission nebula NGC 1491 in Perseus shot with my .5 meter telescope. The stars were removed to reveal the subtleties of this interstellar skyscape with colors and forms reminiscent of a renaissance painting. As the NII filter had stronger signal than the SII filter, this is an NHO image.
