Description

We are in the constellation of Sagittarius in the early hours of the spring night in the hemisphere. Where the Milky Way is shown in all its splendor and stands out for its brilliance. We can observe the asterism typical of the constellation of Sagittarius, which has the shape known as a “teapot”. If we focus on its upper star and look west, we can see a diffuse, whitish area. What is it? It is the Lagoon Nebula. If we now take some binoculars, no matter how small they may be, we will see how a good group of stars come together with a nebulosity as a background. Is beautiful. Now, always with our binoculars, we will see how another nebulosity appears to the north of the Lagoon Nebula, this time smaller but also fascinating, it is the Trifid Nebula. We tour the area and find star clusters, globular and open, and dark bands that seem to define a smile in that area of the sky.
