Description

M67 (NGC2682) is an open star cluster located in Cancer at about 2,700 light years and is one of the oldest known clusters. Being one of oldest and relatively closest clusters it is frequently studied and observed. The cluster contains over 500 stars and spans a distance of about 21 light years.



Taken January 3, 2014 from the San Francisco Bay Area.
