Description

Messier 45 is an open star cluster in the constellation Taurus. The cluster is dominated by hot blue extreme luminous stars formed 100 million years ago. The stars are passing through a huge dust cloud and will stay with us for another 250 million years.

Amazing that this image does show a very faint galaxy north of the star Electra which I have never seen before in other photos.
