NGC1893 & IC410 - The Tadpoles Nebula (Narrowband)

We had a very cold (-6C) and clear night yesterday, so I took the FLT132 out and set it up to image NGC1893 / IC410. About 30 minutes in, the AM5 mount itself gave way under the weight of the FLT132 and the telescope dropped quickly to one side, with the counterweight unable to balance the weight. This caused the USB cables attached to the main and guiding cameras to snap at the connectors!!! Luckily the mount stopped at that point, I grabbed the whole thing and the scope was absolutely fine (phew!!!). I nearly had a heart attack, but after replacing the cables and rebalancing the mount (I added a heavier counterweight), I managed to get a few hours of imaging on NGC1893/IC410 until it disappeared behind a large tree. Lesson learned: Balance scope well and/or get a mount capable of handling this heavier/longer scope!!

In any case, here is the result of what I got with my ASI2600MC Pro, Optolong L-Ultimate filter at 910mm focal length. I pre-processed in PixInsight and post-processed in PixInsight and Affinity Photo 2. I hope you like it.
