Description

So, it's been a while since I could image due to some equipment issues and weather. Tonight, I got to go out finally (despite the full moon!) and try the Field Flattener that Jennifer Radi Greenberg got me for Hanukkah.

The double cluster is located in the constellation of Perseus. It is made up of 2 open clusters, NGC 869 and NGC 884, which are next to each other.

They are relatively close to earth (at about 7500 light years), and contain about 20,000 solar masses combined.
