Description

SN1054, the Crab Nebula, noted as a guest star by Chinese, Japanese and Korean observers in 1054AD. The massive progenitor star's core collapsed exploding the majority of the star into space leaving a rapidly rotating neutron star (the fainter of the two close stars near the centre). Distance 6,500 ly. Takahashi TOA130/EM-200 Temma2 combination.
