The complete Cygnus Loop or Veil Complex in a narrowband image composed of 24 x 300sec exposures each for Ha, OIII and SII.

This is the first-light image for my new wide-field travel setup. I decided to try my ATIK 460EXm with a simple telephoto lens. I got my hands on a 40-year-old Asahi/Pentax Super-Multi-Coated Takumar 135mm f2.5 lens, which was super-easy to adapt to the camera. The lens has a 6-element design with excellent optical properties and is build like a tank. I am very happy with this handy system.

Conditions were far from optimal, mediocre transparency and almost full moon. Leaves some room for improvement.
