Description

Thia is an image I did back in 2011 and reprocessed to post in Astrobin. Now is the perfect time for a new trying if the weather allow it. I noted back then:

This is the final image with 15 frames of 15 minutes stacked. I am happy by now as M-1 is already too low in my latitude for a new trying. Next year I am going to start earlier to be possible to capture narrow band subs to mix with the LRGB image.

This is actually a Supernova remnant. It is 6500 light years distant from Earth, has apparent size 8' x 4' and magnitude 8.4. In the core of the nebula there is a rotating neutron star.

The filaments in the nebula are moving outward at over 1000Km/sec.

A word about **Rev 2**

Re-processing in Pixinsight, aiming a more natural stars size as well as to decrease the background noise. Also some more detail has been pushed on the delicate tendrils of the nubula.
