Description

Hi everyone, in two nights, one of which was fairly hazy (for the HOO version), I was able to take a duo portrait of M81 and M82 with my C8 Edge HD. These two must-see winter galaxies aren't so easy to process. First, I shot an RGB version (150x3mn or 7h30) and then, on the second night, a HOO version (51x5mn or 4h15). Then I mixed the two versions in non-linear mode (50% RGB, 50% HOO). I like the result. Incidentally, I replaced the DBE gradient extraction (in PixInsight) with GraXpert 2.2.2. The result is much better, with greater respect for galaxy detail. Technical details :
