About it...

The Crab Nebula was first observed by Chinese astronomers, in 1054.

It is situated at 6 200 a-l from Earth, and is expanding at a rate of 1 500 kilometers per second.

At the center of the Nebula is the Crab Pulsar, with a spin rate of about 30 times per second.
