IC434 (Horsehead Nebula) and NGC 2023

Taken with Celestron Edge HD 14" and Apogee U16M at F/11.

This was only 40 minutes of exposure per channel so it needs more data (and less Alnitak) but it is a start. I don't have a good horizon where I image and this is fairly low in the sky so I don't have many hours per night where this can be imaged -- this was just one night.

The key feature of this image is that it was guided with a piggyback guidescope using MetaGuide software and my FlexRX software to reduce guidescope flexure. You can see an example 10 minute sub without FlexRX here:

This software certainly seems to open up new possibilities for piggyback guiding.
