Description

I recently uploaded an image of NGC 5128 taken with the Redcat 51 at its well-known f/4.9 ratio. This time, I decided to give it a try with the Televue NP101IS at f/5.4, which is similar but has twice the optical diameter. It provides a narrower field of view, and I believe I am very close to the sweet spot for framing this target. I truly think that these bright galaxies look better when captured with a wide field rather than at longer focal lengths. This one, in particular, exhibits incredible jet streams emitted from the central region (where a gargantuan black hole resides). Unfortunately, there's been no chance to capture them with my rig so far, especially near a full moon.
