Description

NGC 1788 is a reflection nebula in Orion flanked to the right by the dark nebula Lynds 1616.

This is about 45 min of HaRGB data that I have processed from the Liverpool Telescope. Which there had been a bit more data (this one is not for pixel peepers).

Filters and exposures:

sdss-r 9 x 90 s

Ha 4 x 120 s (mixed 33:67 with sdss-r for the red channel)

Bessell B 9 x 90 s (blue channel)

Bessell V 7 x 90 s (green channel)
