Description

Subject: NGC-5907: A spiral galaxy located approximately 50M light-years away. Notable in part for apparently being composed of primarily dwarf stars.

Capture notes: Seattle's first solid stretch of clear weather in 8 months conveniently fell on the week of the new moon, and with a national holiday to boot. Other than the late sunsets, these captures were on the best nights we've had for deep sky RGB imaging in ages.

Processing notes: Had a difficult time preserving a little star color without overdoing the saturation elsewhere but I think it turned out okay.
