Description

The view covers almost the size of a full moon (seen from earth), the nebula is named after the white star located at the center of the field (Wolf-Rayet 134).
It highlights the bright edges of an ellipsoidal bubble formed of interstellar gas, blown by the star while adjusting to fuel change (from H to He).
While most of the visible diffuse gas is ionized by WR-134, the bright arc is created by the collision of multiple layers by the ambient nebula surrounding the star.
