Description

Bearing a resemblance to M33,  NGC 2403, also known as Caldwell 7, is an intermediate spiral galaxy in Camelopardalis.   At magnitude just under 9, it is visible in binoculars (though not in suburban SW Ohio).  Embedded in the lower left border of the galaxy is NGC 2404, a HII region.
