A while ago I had the thought to target one of the dark clouds by the Elephant Trunk. For some reason APT has had issues with plate solving in the area. I actually had it framed another night, but decided to shoot something else. I've not had issues plate solving anywhere else or going to a star to calibrate PHD2 prior to going to IC 1396. I'm not sure what the issue is, but after plate solving to Alioth then Elephant Trunk, even though it failed to solve, it did actually have it framed well.
I had been planning to shoot M8/M20, but it was still behind my house, so I decided to go for Elephant Trunk because I was falling asleep and didn't want to wait to start the capture plan. I have to say it worked out well. At 382mm focal length, the framing is really good. I barely cropped the image at all as it filled up most of the sensor.

20210817 Edit: Here is a picture of my relative humidity. I've had lots of seeing and humidity discussions, so I am adding it to this data to make the conversation easier. Yes, I have nearly 100% RH during my imaging sessions unfortunately.
